Taking part in one of my favourits slams at the Belfast Book Festival.

Poetry NI presents the Belfast Book Festival Slam 2022. Open to all poets of all styles and experiences, we invite you to take the mic and share your work in front of a lively and appreciative audience, with first-time entrants always welcome. Poets will be marked on composition and delivery as scored by our panel of judges, including UK Slam Champion Elizabeth McGeown. The winner will receive the Brian Bailey Memorial Cup and be our 2022 Festival Slampion!

To take part, you will need to a Participant ticket - tickets are limited to 20 participants. There will be three rounds through to the final. Our motto is always be prepared, so bring three poems in case!
